Nadeem, who failed in the first test with both bat and ball might get replaced with Kuldeep. Nadeem who seemed to be hurry in the 1st test threw 9 No balls in the match which indicates he was in some kind of pressure. Washington Sundar on the other hand was also disappointing with bowling but he continued his form by scoring 85 in the first innings. With that Sundar might be in a safer place rather than Nadeem.
Gavaskar said “Team India looks set to take Kuldeep Yadav to the final for the second Test. Maybe Nadeem or Washington will not be hunting for one of the beauties. Whoever comes into the team should try restrict England to a low score. It seems to me that Nadeem was under pressure in the first Test. I’m not talking too much about his No balls. But when the bowler throws the ball, it means he is in a hurry” he said.
