Details of the final clinical trials of the Sputnik V vaccine made by Russia for corona binding have been revealed. Details of the launch of the third phase of Sputnik V were released by The Lancent International Medical Journal on Tuesday.
The vaccine has been shown to be 91.6 percent effective in protecting people from corona, according to third – stage trials. Researchers at the Gama lea Institute said the results were based on data from a quarter of the 19,966 volunteers who received placebo (used in clinical trials to test the effectiveness of the vaccine).
Since the start of the Sputnik V trials in Moscow, 16 cases of syphilitic covid-19 (with corona symptoms) have been reported among those who have been vaccinated, with 62 people in the placebo group infected with the virus, scientists said. They found that a two-dose regimen of the vaccine (vaccinated twice over a 21-day period) showed that it was 91.6% effective against COVID-19.
